About the Job

 

Responsible for multiple large, complex financing transactions. Represent the company to lenders, investors, consultants, and in the broader capital markets field

 

Duties Include

  • Identify suitable global working capital lenders or investors for M&A for deals ranging from $10M to $60M;
  • Maintain capital lender and investor relationships, including for complex transactions ranging from $60M to $3B, that result in closed deals for Gradiant entities;
  • Develop internal systems used for asset and debt management;
  • Guide the operational finance team in executing reports and other activities, including SPV management;
  • Lead efforts with existing and new project equity investors;
  • Develop the asset management platform;
  • Execute corporate model changes and projections;
  • Create a credit quality summary for all the individual projects based on country, off taker, and contract bankability;
  • Create and maintain project information memorandums, project cash flows, and deal rooms;
  • Aggregate relevant investor groups that are currently completing RE sell downs and completing water sell downs;
  • Identify segments of investors, including flexible capital funds (i.e., Kilonova, Springlane, Hartfold, and flex capital fund) as well as family offices across Hong Kong and SE Asia;
  • Identify national and international sources of debt capital to fund group of projects; and,
  • Identify projects available for acquisition that would result in net-positive EBITDA’s, using Gradiant’s tech strength to create exponential multiplier (Inorganic expansion – M&A). 

 

Up to 40% domestic and international travel required.

 

May telecommute from any US location.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • A Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Public Administration (MPA), or a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Economic Policy Management, or a related field and 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a financial analysis-related occupation. Experience may have been gained before, during, or after Master’s program.

  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Economic Policy Management, or a related field followed by 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a financial analysis-related occupation.

  • Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:

    3 years of experience with financial modeling for large, complex infrastructure;
    3 years of experience with asset sell downs and project debt finance;
    3 years of experience implementing processes related to asset sell downs and project finance debt;
    3 years of experience organizing profitable asset sell downs in both the debt and the equity markets to unlock equity in the business & generate positive operating cash flow within capital markets;
    3 years of experience in transaction execution and process management;
    3 years of experience cultivating and maintaining banking and investor relationships.
