Das Demonstrationsprojekt ist seit November 2019 im Dauerbetrieb und erf\u00fcllt erfolgreich die Ziele des Projekts in Bezug auf Wasserqualit\u00e4t, Effizienz, Kosten und Energieverbrauch. Die Partnerunternehmen sind nun dabei, das Verfahren auf 5.000 m3\/d am selben Standort in Jeddah zu erweitern, um den steigenden Wasserbedarf der lokalen Industrie zu decken. Die endg\u00fcltige CFRO-Kapazit\u00e4t k\u00f6nnte bis zu 15.000 m3\/d betragen und damit die derzeitige S\u00fc\u00dfwasserproduktion am Standort verdoppeln. Das CFRO-Verfahren wird das zus\u00e4tzliche Frischwasser liefern, ohne dass der Meerwassereinlass, der Soleauslass oder das Vorbehandlungssystem erweitert werden m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>SAWACO und Gradiant sind dabei, ein Joint Venture zu gr\u00fcnden, um CFRO und andere Meerwasserentsalzungstechnologien im K\u00f6nigreich Saudi-Arabien einzusetzen. Saudi-Arabien ist derzeit der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Entsalzungsmarkt der Welt und produziert etwa ein F\u00fcnftel der weltweiten entsalzten Wasserversorgung, wobei in den n\u00e4chsten zwei Jahrzehnten voraussichtlich $80B f\u00fcr Entsalzungsprojekte ausgegeben werden sollen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\"Wir bei SAWACO haben \u00fcber ein Jahrzehnt nach einer Technologie zur Entsalzung von Meerwassersole gesucht, und erst jetzt haben wir eine gefunden, die zuverl\u00e4ssig, energieeffizient und kosteng\u00fcnstig ist.
