El procesamiento elimina las impurezas del agua potable, de r\u00edo o de proceso para alcanzar los est\u00e1ndares de alta calidad que exigen estos sectores, incluida una resistividad &gt;18,2M\u03a9-cm y otros par\u00e1metros medidos hasta en partes por bill\u00f3n.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>La especificaci\u00f3n precisa y la utilidad del UPW var\u00edan seg\u00fan la industria. Por ejemplo, en la fabricaci\u00f3n de productos farmac\u00e9uticos est\u00e9riles, el UPW es un ingrediente de los productos parenterales y de otro tipo para controlar el contenido de endotoxinas y el aclarado final de los materiales de envasado primario. En cambio, la fabricaci\u00f3n de semiconductores y c\u00e9lulas solares requiere grandes cantidades de UPW, fundamental para la limpieza de obleas, el aclarado, el acondicionamiento de superficies, el grabado h\u00famedo, el proceso con disolventes, la planarizaci\u00f3n qu\u00edmico-mec\u00e1nica y la producci\u00f3n de lechada.
