La cuota de las bater\u00edas de fosfato de iones de litio (LFP) y de iones de sodio crecer\u00e1 a medida que mejoren las tecnolog\u00edas. Se est\u00e1n poniendo en marcha nuevos proyectos, pero no al ritmo de la demanda de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos y sistemas de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Sistemas de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda.<\/strong> Aunque la necesidad de suministro para el mercado de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos seguir\u00e1 dominando, las bater\u00edas para ESS cobrar\u00e1n mayor importancia. Los ESS reducen el desequilibrio entre la demanda y la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda capturando y almacenando la energ\u00eda producida para su uso posterior. Fastmarkets estima una CAGR de 20% hasta 2030 para los ESS.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>La Ley estadounidense de Reducci\u00f3n de la Inflaci\u00f3n (IRA).<\/strong> La introducci\u00f3n el a\u00f1o pasado de la IRA exige a los fabricantes de autom\u00f3viles que al menos 50% de los minerales cr\u00edticos utilizados en las bater\u00edas de los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos procedan de Norteam\u00e9rica o de socios estadounidenses para 2024. Esto presiona a los fabricantes para que construyan una cadena de suministro en Estados Unidos, lo que lleva al desarrollo de m\u00e9todos alternativos de extracci\u00f3n y refinado.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Extracci\u00f3n directa de litio (DLE) y sostenibilidad.<\/strong> La DLE se est\u00e1 convirtiendo en una tecnolog\u00eda importante para desbloquear el litio atrapado en las salmueras subterr\u00e1neas, mejorar la recuperaci\u00f3n de los m\u00e9todos convencionales y cumplir los requisitos de la IRA para abastecerse en EE.UU. o sus socios. La DLE ofrece ventajas de sostenibilidad en el uso y la gesti\u00f3n del agua y un menor riesgo medioambiental. Los acuerdos a largo plazo empiezan a tener en cuenta algo m\u00e1s que el precio y el volumen, ya que los permisos medioambientales y el compromiso de la comunidad se est\u00e1n convirtiendo en factores cr\u00edticos para el \u00e9xito de un proyecto.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Reciclaje de pilas.<\/strong> El mercado est\u00e1 pendiente del reciclaje de bater\u00edas de iones de litio, ya que el suministro mundial de litio y materiales para bater\u00edas se enfrenta a una presi\u00f3n creciente. El sector es incipiente, ya que se est\u00e1n probando comercialmente nuevas tecnolog\u00edas y procesos de reciclado. Este \u00faltimo es un proceso sencillo pero ineficaz, que requiere grandes extensiones de terreno, paciencia para esperar 18 meses a que se evapore y mayores riesgos medioambientales.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">La DLE es una tecnolog\u00eda emergente en la que la salmuera cargada de litio se trata directamente desde el subsuelo mediante una serie de procesos qu\u00edmicos y se reinyecta en el yacimiento. La DLE evita los inconvenientes de la miner\u00eda de roca dura y las balsas de evaporaci\u00f3n -manipulaci\u00f3n y transporte a grandes distancias, largos tiempos de procesamiento y riesgos medioambientales- para producir compuestos de litio aptos para bater\u00edas en cuesti\u00f3n de horas. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/d1e00ek4ebabms.cloudfront.net\/production\/uploaded-files\/Lithium_redacted-5c724b64-a6a2-4863-9ccb-ddcd92b56ed8.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Goldman Sachs<\/a><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\"> ha dicho que la DLE podr\u00eda hacer por el litio lo que la fracturaci\u00f3n hidr\u00e1ulica hizo por la industria petrolera.<\/span><br><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p><p>Gradiant's <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gradiant.com\/es\/tecnologias\/ro-infinity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RO Infinito<\/a> mejora el proceso de DLE, reduciendo el tiempo de comercializaci\u00f3n y la huella medioambiental. La integraci\u00f3n de la tecnolog\u00eda puede aplicarse a nuevos yacimientos de extracci\u00f3n y producci\u00f3n de mineral de litio, abriendo oportunidades a regiones de producci\u00f3n de litio sin explotar, as\u00ed como a operaciones de producci\u00f3n de litio ya existentes.<\/p>\n<p><br><\/p><p>Las soluciones de Gradiant ayudan a la industria minera a recuperar metales valiosos y a reducir la huella de agua y carbono.
