(M\u00eame histoire pour SUEZ et m\u00eame pour l'acquisition de Betz par GE Water).<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Pourtant, aussi contre-intuitive qu'elle ait pu \u00eatre, cette orientation - associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un mod\u00e8le d'entreprise solide - a permis \u00e0 Gradiant de devenir un acteur majeur du secteur de l'\u00e9nergie. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Hpk_gPjm_1s\">la premi\u00e8re licorne des technologies de l'eau<\/a>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Mais nombreux sont ceux qui vous arr\u00eateraient encore avec un sourire narquois lors de congr\u00e8s et de salons en vous disant , <em>\"Oui, c'est une valorisation, mais la preuve est dans le pudding, n'est-ce pas ?\"<\/em><\/p><p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>Voyons donc le pudding. <\/em><\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Lorsque j'ai discut\u00e9 avec Prakash en d\u00e9but d'ann\u00e9e, il m'a expliqu\u00e9 comment Gradiant avait atteint un chiffre d'affaires de $200 millions en 2023, avec un carnet de commandes de $500 millions.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>C'est l\u00e0 que ce communiqu\u00e9 de presse passe \u00e0 l'\u00e9tape suivante : l'entreprise aurait sign\u00e9 pour $337 millions de commandes au premier trimestre 2024, et plus de $500 millions sur l'ensemble du premier semestre.<\/p><p><em>(J'utilise le conditionnel car, Gradiant n'\u00e9tant pas public, ces partages de r\u00e9sultats ne sont pas contraignants).<\/em><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Qu'est-ce qui se passe ici ?<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Je l'ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 dit par le pass\u00e9, je le r\u00e9p\u00e8te : Je suis une moldue de la finance. Alors, prenez mon <em>\"analyse\"<\/em> avec une pinc\u00e9e de sel \ud83d\ude00<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Gradiant a obtenu son statut de licorne en 2023 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa s\u00e9rie D de $225 millions. La m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, elle a atteint les $200 millions de chiffre d'affaires que je viens de mentionner.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Cela repr\u00e9sente un rapport prix\/ventes de 5 \u00e0 1. <em>(si vous \u00eates encore plus muet que moi, le ratio P\/S est le montant que les investisseurs sont pr\u00eats \u00e0 payer par dollar de ventes).<\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Pour une entreprise technologique, c'est <strong><em>faible<\/em><\/strong>. Mais pour une entreprise industrielle, c'est <strong><em>\u00e9lev\u00e9<\/em><\/strong>... donc, disons que c'est une moyenne si nous disons que Gradiant est un <em>\"enfant cool industriel\"<\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Quoi qu'il en soit, ce n'est pas scandaleux pour une entreprise \u00e0 forte croissance.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Maintenant, avec (pr\u00e9tendument) $500 Million de commandes au premier semestre 2024, il serait raisonnable d'anticiper une ann\u00e9e compl\u00e8te de $1 Milliard pour Gradiant... ce qui repr\u00e9sente <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalwaterintel.com\/articles\/gradiant-diversifies-to-hit-1bn-sales-target\">leur objectif de vente pour 2026<\/a>!<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Si l'on applique le m\u00eame rapport qualit\u00e9-prix, l'\u00e9valuation de Gradiant atteindrait $5 milliards.
