La p\u00e9nurie croissante d'eau a conduit le pays \u00e0 promulguer la loi sur la pr\u00e9vention et le contr\u00f4le de la pollution de l'eau (Water Pollution Prevention and Control Act), qui met l'accent sur la conservation et la protection de ces ressources en eau.
