Il trattamento rimuove le impurit\u00e0 dall'acqua potabile, di fiume o di processo per raggiungere gli standard di alta qualit\u00e0 richiesti da queste industrie, tra cui la resistivit\u00e0 &gt;18,2 M\u03a9-cm e altri parametri misurati fino a parti per trilione.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Le specifiche e l'utilit\u00e0 di UPW variano a seconda del settore. Ad esempio, nella produzione di prodotti farmaceutici sterili, UPW \u00e8 un ingrediente per prodotti parenterali e altri prodotti per controllare il contenuto di endotossine e per il risciacquo finale dei materiali di imballaggio primari. La produzione di semiconduttori e celle solari richiede invece grandi quantit\u00e0 di UPW, fondamentali per la pulizia dei wafer, il risciacquo, il condizionamento delle superfici, l'incisione a umido, il processo con solventi, la planarizzazione chimico-meccanica e la produzione di slurry.
