(Stessa storia per SUEZ e anche per l'acquisizione di Betz da parte di GE Water).<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Tuttavia, per quanto controintuitivo, questo focus, unito a un forte modello di business, ha trasformato Gradiant in un'azienda di successo. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Hpk_gPjm_1s\">nel primo unicorno della tecnologia dell'acqua<\/a>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Ma molti vi fermerebbero ancora con un sorriso compiaciuto a congressi e fiere dicendovi, <em>\"S\u00ec, \u00e8 una valutazione, ma la prova \u00e8 nel budino, no?\".<\/em><\/p><p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>Quindi, diamo un'occhiata al budino. <\/em><\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Quando ho parlato con Prakash all'inizio di quest'anno, mi ha raccontato come Gradiant abbia raggiunto un fatturato di $200 milioni nel 2023, con un portafoglio di $500 milioni.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00c8 qui che il comunicato stampa fa un passo avanti: l'azienda avrebbe firmato ordini per $337 milioni nel primo trimestre del 2024, con oltre $500 milioni nell'intero primo semestre.<\/p><p><em>(Uso il condizionale perch\u00e9, non essendo Gradiant pubblico, la condivisione dei risultati non \u00e8 vincolante)<\/em><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Cosa bolle in pentola?<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>L'ho detto in passato e lo ripeto: Sono un babbano della finanza. Quindi, prendete il mio <em>\"analisi\"<\/em> con un pizzico di sale \ud83d\ude00<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Gradiant ha ottenuto lo status di unicorno nel 2023 grazie alla Serie D da $225 milioni. Nello stesso anno, ha raggiunto il fatturato di $200 milioni di cui ho appena parlato.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Si tratta di un rapporto prezzo\/vendite di 5 a 1. <em>(se siete ancora pi\u00f9 babbani di me, il rapporto P\/S \u00e8 quanto gli investitori sono disposti a pagare per ogni dollaro di vendite).<\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Per un'azienda tecnologica, questo \u00e8 <strong><em>basso<\/em><\/strong>. Ma per un'azienda industriale, questo \u00e8 <strong><em>alto<\/em><\/strong>... quindi, diciamo che \u00e8 nella media se diciamo che Gradiant \u00e8 un <em>\"ragazzo industriale cool\"<\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Comunque, non \u00e8 un dato scandaloso per un'azienda in forte crescita.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Ora, con (presumibilmente) $500 milioni di ordini nella prima met\u00e0 del 2024, sarebbe ragionevole prevedere un anno intero da $1 miliardi per Gradiant... che \u00e8 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalwaterintel.com\/articles\/gradiant-diversifies-to-hit-1bn-sales-target\">il loro obiettivo di vendita per il 2026<\/a>!<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Applicando lo stesso P\/S, la valutazione di Gradiant salirebbe a $5 miliardi.
