Questo sar\u00e0 il primo progetto di Gradiant in Antartide, mentre Gradiant continua ad espandersi a livello globale.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>L'AAD fa parte del Dipartimento dell'Agricoltura, dell'Acqua e dell'Ambiente del governo australiano con sede a Hobart, in Tasmania. Fondata nel 1957, la stazione di Davis \u00e8 una delle tre stazioni di ricerca attive tutto l'anno (Casey, Davis e Mawson) responsabili dell'attuazione del Programma antartico australiano secondo le priorit\u00e0 del governo.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In collaborazione con la societ\u00e0 madre Gradiant Corporation, CRS fornir\u00e0 due impianti di desalinizzazione a osmosi inversa dell'acqua di mare (SWRO) progettati su misura per garantire l'accesso a una fornitura affidabile e sicura di acqua potabile. Le considerazioni principali sulla progettazione dei nuovi impianti di desalinizzazione riguardano i livelli di alghe nell'acqua di alimentazione e il verificarsi di fioriture algali dannose, le variazioni stagionali della qualit\u00e0 e della temperatura dell'acqua e la resistenza alla corrosione in condizioni ambientali e di acqua di alimentazione estreme.
