La quota delle batterie al litio-fosfato (LFP) e agli ioni di sodio crescer\u00e0 con il miglioramento delle tecnologie. Nuovi progetti sono in corso di realizzazione, ma non a un ritmo tale da tenere il passo con la domanda del mercato per i veicoli elettrici e i sistemi di accumulo dell'energia (ESS).<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Sistemi di accumulo dell'energia.<\/strong> Mentre la necessit\u00e0 di approvvigionamento per il mercato dei veicoli elettrici continuer\u00e0 a dominare, le batterie per gli ESS diventeranno sempre pi\u00f9 importanti. Gli ESS riducono lo squilibrio tra domanda e produzione di energia catturando e immagazzinando l'energia prodotta per un uso successivo. Fastmarkets stima un CAGR di 20% fino al 2030 per gli ESS.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>La legge statunitense sulla riduzione dell'inflazione (IRA).<\/strong> L'introduzione dell'IRA, avvenuta lo scorso anno, impone alle case automobilistiche di far s\u00ec che almeno 50% dei minerali critici utilizzati nelle batterie EV provengano dal Nord America o da partner statunitensi entro il 2024. Questo crea una pressione per i produttori a costruire una catena di approvvigionamento negli Stati Uniti, portando allo sviluppo di metodi alternativi per l'estrazione e la raffinazione.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Estrazione diretta del litio (DLE) e sostenibilit\u00e0.<\/strong> Il DLE sta diventando una tecnologia importante per sbloccare il litio intrappolato nella salamoia sotterranea, migliorare il recupero dei metodi convenzionali e soddisfare i requisiti dell'IRA per l'approvvigionamento dagli Stati Uniti o dai suoi partner. Il DLE offre vantaggi di sostenibilit\u00e0 nell'uso e nella gestione dell'acqua e minori rischi ambientali. Gli accordi a lungo termine cominciano a non considerare solo il prezzo e il volume, ma anche le autorizzazioni ambientali e l'impegno della comunit\u00e0 stanno diventando fondamentali per il successo di un progetto.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Riciclaggio delle batterie.<\/strong> Il mercato guarda al riciclaggio delle batterie agli ioni di litio, dato che l'approvvigionamento mondiale di litio e di materiali per batterie \u00e8 sempre pi\u00f9 sotto pressione. Quest'ultimo \u00e8 un processo semplice ma inefficiente, che richiede grandi aree di terreno, la pazienza di attendere 18 mesi per l'evaporazione e maggiori rischi ambientali.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">Il DLE \u00e8 una tecnologia emergente in cui la salamoia carica di litio viene trattata direttamente dal terreno con una serie di processi chimici e reiniettata nel giacimento. Il DLE evita gli svantaggi dell'estrazione da rocce dure e dei bacini di evaporazione - movimentazione e trasporto su grandi distanze, lunghi tempi di lavorazione e rischi ambientali - per produrre composti di litio per batterie in poche ore. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/d1e00ek4ebabms.cloudfront.net\/production\/uploaded-files\/Lithium_redacted-5c724b64-a6a2-4863-9ccb-ddcd92b56ed8.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Goldman Sachs<\/a><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\"> ha affermato che il DLE potrebbe fare per il litio quello che il fracking ha fatto per l'industria petrolifera.<\/span><br><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p><p>Gradiant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gradiant.com\/it\/tecnologie\/ro-infinito\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RO Infinito<\/a> migliora il processo DLE, riducendo i tempi di commercializzazione e l'impatto ambientale.
