Gradiant\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.he-water.group\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">H+E<\/a> was also recognized as the winner of <em>\u201cWater Technology Idol\u201d<\/em> for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scfi.eu\/about-hto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AquaCritox<\/a> super-critical water oxidation (SCWO) PFAS destruction technology.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <em>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/globalwaterawards.com\/2024-water-company-of-the-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Water Company of the Year<\/a>\u201d<\/em> award recognizes the water company that has made the most significant contributions to the development of the international water sector. Gradiant received the Distinction award for its strategic growth and technology advancements that significantly expanded its global footprint and operational capacity. The company achieved a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gradiant.com\/press-release\/gradiant-raises-225-million-to-accelerate-business-expansion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">landmark valuation of $1 billion<\/a>, becoming the first unicorn in the water industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the award, <em>GWI<\/em> said \u201cThe company\u2019s obsession with maximizing its impact has seen it apply a portfolio of technologies to optimize the lithium production process. It is also piloting a destructive oxidation technique for PFAS elimination, while the acquisition of H+E\u2019s supercritical water oxidation technology gives it capabilities in PFAS removal. It all adds up to a uniquely different kind of water company.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Global Water Awards<\/em> also recognized Gradiant\u2019s H+E as the winner of <em>\u201cWater Technology Idol<\/em>\u201d for the company whose technology could change the future of the water market. H+E\u2019s AquaCritox SCWO technology completely destroys organic wastes into clean water through an oxidation reaction within seconds.
