Lithium Production Facility Coming to Pennsylvania | AXIOS Pittsburgh
Gradiant’s spin-out alkaLi is developing a lithium production facility in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, to extract battery-grade lithium from fracking wastewater. Leveraging its EC² technology, the site aims to recover high-purity lithium sustainably and could supply a significant share of U.S. EV battery demand. Commercial operations are targeted for early 2026.
