Furthering the Revolution Already Underway in Water | Water & Wastewater Asia

This month, Water & Wastewater Asia’s Amira Yunos published Furthering the Revolution Already Underway in Water: Gradiant Against Water Scarcity where she interviews our Co-Founder & COO Prakash Govindan on latest trends and innovations in water management across Asia and the world. They highlight the growing demand for sustainable water management solutions as a result of population growth, urbanization, and climate change.

“According to the United Nations, if current water consumption trends continue, global water demand will exceed supply by 40% by 2030,” says Prakash Govindan. “Erratic weather patterns linked to climate change are already leading the intense drought episodes in different parts of Asia and the world, some of the worst in over 1,000 years. The water cycle is the first to feel the impact of climate change and is projected to absorb most of its impact.”
