I PFAS sono presenti in qualsiasi cosa, dai semiconduttori agli impermeabili. Con l'aumento delle normative su queste sostanze, sono in aumento anche i nuovi metodi per ripulirle. "È fondamentale che le autorità di regolamentazione comprendano i vantaggi per la salute pubblica delle tecnologie che distruggono completamente le sostanze chimiche rispetto a quelle che non lo fanno", ha dichiarato Steven Lam, responsabile del settore tecnologico.
