It is complex and resource-intensive to extract lithium and other high-demand, valuable resources from brine deposits found in continental, geothermal, and oil field sources. Traditional methods have relied on inefficient solar evaporation ponds to concentrate lithium — requiring enormous areas of land and great patience given that processing times can take years. We offer an alternative solution that is advanced and highly efficient.


Gradiant’s Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) and production is a breakthrough process that yields lithium with far greater efficiency through an integrated flowsheet that includes adsorption, ion exchange, solvent extraction, and membranes. This technology stack results in the sustainable production of battery-grade lithium compounds using our patented RO Infinity (ROI), powered by SmartOps AI – an integrated platform for performance optimization and asset management.
