As an ERP PM, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You will play a crucial role in driving the successful integration of the ERP system across various departments and ensuring its effective utilization to support business operations. The ERP Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, implement system enhancements, and provide ongoing support to optimize ERP performance. The ERP PM will have to lead and coordinate work with System Implementation partners, ERP platform vendors and business consultants to successfully deliver the project.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end implementation of the ERP system, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, identify process improvements, and align ERP functionalities with organizational objectives.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including internal resources and external consultants, to ensure successful ERP project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Develop and implement ERP policies, procedures, and best practices to drive standardization, data integrity, and system compliance.
Provide technical expertise and guidance in system configuration, customization, and integration with other business systems and applications.
Monitor and maintain the overall health, stability, and performance of the ERP system, proactively identifying and resolving issues or bottlenecks.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure data accuracy, security, and adherence to established controls and compliance standards.
Collaborate with IT teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, evaluating and testing new functionalities and ensuring smooth transitions.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate end-users on ERP system functionalities and promote effective system utilization.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ERP systems to recommend system improvements and drive continuous optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in ERP system management, implementation, and support, preferably at least 5 in a leadership role.
Experience with cloud bases ERP platforms
In-depth knowledge of at least one ERP system (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft) and their modules, including finance, supply chain, project accounting, human resources and manufacturing.
Proven track record of successfully leading end-to-end ERP implementations, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and training.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and a focus on process optimization.
Strong understanding of business processes and their integration with ERP systems, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in relevant ERP systems and project management methodologies is a plus.
