Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a diversified industrial water treatment sales / projects pipeline in Australian region
- Maintain a results-oriented approach to closing customer contracts and revenue targets
- Delivering to sales targets and maintaining pipeline within CRM system.
- Focus on “customer first” and ensure highest level of customer satisfaction during any phase of interaction.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with current and future clients.
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s technologies, the competition in the industry and positioning
- Source, execute and complete customer RFI’s and RFP’s to the highest degree of professionalism
- Coordinate proposal development with internal Gradiant teams as required (proposals/process, sales, management, engineering and operations)
- Ability to understand and communicate on a variety of water treatment technologies (one or both of membranes and ZLD)
- Delivering to sales targets and maintaining pipeline within CRM system.
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
- Travel to remote sites and interstate in Australia.
Skills & Experience:
- B.E/ B.Tech in Chemical Environmental or Process engineering
- Should have 8+ years’ business development / sales experience with in water, mining and resourcing industries
- Deep Understanding of customer’s requirements in the Mining & Resources industry
- Exposure to various water/wastewater technologies and systems
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets, creating sales forecasts and building a robust sale pipeline.
- Financial acumen to build and sell profitable opportunities that leverage the value being provided to the client.
- Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
- Solid knowledge of creating engaging presentation in PowerPoint and the ability to deliver in an understandable and responsive way.
- Technical knowledge to possess a strong understanding of the company’s technologies.
- Collaborating with design and sales teams to align on the best solution to propose to the client to secure the business and solve the client’s problem.
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Valid driver’s licence C Class
