Gradiant Announces World’s First Fully Integrated Lithium Production Facility from Oilfield Produced Water
Gradiant announced its lithium business, alkaLi, will launch the world’s first fully integrated facility to extract, concentrate, and convert lithium from oilfield produced water. Located in Pennsylvania’s Marcellus Shale Formation, the plant begins commercial operations in early 2026 with a multi-year offtake agreement secured. The patented EC² platform enables faster, cleaner, and more sustainable U.S. lithium production.
