Amid growing awareness of water contamination by harmful “Forever Chemicals,” Boston Globe’s Aaron Pressman writes about how Gradiant, an MIT spinout, offers a new solution that not only filters out per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) substances but also destroys these substances.
